Senior Telemetry & RF Mesh Network Engineer

Design decentralized, self-healing tactical mesh networks that keep telemetry flowing between aerial nodes, ground anchors, and command tablets over contested RF.

Tactical networks have to heal themselves: nodes drop, links jam, vehicles move fast, and the data still has to arrive. You will design the decentralized mesh — routing, forward error correction, encryption, and key rotation — that keeps aerial nodes, ground anchors, and command tablets talking over contested RF. Success is measured under deliberately brutal packet loss and high-speed maneuvers, not on a clean bench, and you will own the protocols end to end.

• L2/L3 protocol design, packet routing, mesh frameworks (BATMAN-adv, OLSR, custom)
• Network security, AES-GCM, and dynamic key rotation
• Debugging under extreme simulated packet loss
• Proficiency in C/C++ or Rust for network performance

• Architect stable topologies for multi-UAV relay networks
• Reduce routing convergence during high-speed maneuvers
• Design FEC schemes that boost data reliability
• Verify signal-to-noise thresholds on realistic ranges
