Mission
Extend operational endurance of UAVs/UGVs in sub-zero conditions: solid-state anodes, high-density silicon cells, and active battery-heating arrays.
Cold kills range, and Ukrainian winters are unforgiving. You will extend mission endurance with better chemistry and smarter packs — solid-state anodes, high-density silicon cells, active heating, and BMS algorithms that fight cold-soak losses. You will prototype cells, run drop and burn endurance tests, and bring new chemistry into vehicles that have to perform at sub-zero. This is hard science with an immediate, physical payoff measured in extra minutes on station.

What you bring
- MSc/PhD in Chemical Engineering, Electrochemistry, or Materials
- Prototyping custom lithium-polymer or solid-state cells
- Degradation under high-drain, sub-zero climates
- Designing custom BMS algorithms

- Develop packs with active warming against cold-soak loss
- Formulate thermal isolation using lightweight aerogels
- Supervise drop and burn endurance testing
- Pioneer solid-state chemistry in micro-UAV frames
